    A Life Plan Community (LPC)—also referred to as a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)—offers a convenient, satisfying place to call home, with a variety of floor plan options and neighborhoods to choose from. Services and amenities come with a full continuum of on-site health care to bring you real peace of mind. Health care includes priority access to health and wellness services, assisted living, memory care support, post-acute and long-term care. You live in a residential apartment home or cottage where you can participate in a variety of community activities with others who share similar values, interests and outlook. When you move to your new home at Village On The Isle, you are free from the stress of maintenance, housekeeping, and daily meal preparation. Plus, you never have to worry about an abrupt change in your lifestyle if you should need health care support. Coordinating your care needs and preferences will be readily available for you.

    When you choose Residential Living at Village On The Isle, you furnish your apartment home or cottage as you like. We provide all essential kitchen appliances, granite countertops, washer and dryer, wall-to-wall flooring options, tile in your bathroom and kitchen, and window treatments. Before you move, you will visit our design center and choose from an array of selections based on your preferences.

    Absolutely. There is convenient parking on site for you and your guests. Covered parking is available for residents at an additional monthly charge.

    Travel as often and as long as you like—your home and possessions will remain well-attended. Your residence will be regularly checked by our security and housekeeping staff as requested.

    You and your apartment will be protected by our 24-hour urgent response system, as well as by security personnel that monitor the campus around the clock. We also provide well-lighted parking and pedestrian areas, and have introduced the latest technology for access control to your residence and neighborhood’s main entrance.

    Yes, you can. Our seasonal menu items are made-to-order. Our culinary program directors partner with a committee of residents to plan a variety of options for you to enjoy that fulfill your dietary preferences. A nutritionist is also available to meet with you to develop a plan tailored to your specific health and wellness needs.

    Just like in your current house or condo, your guests—children, grandchildren, friends and relatives—are always welcome. They can enjoy meals with you in the dining room for a minimal charge. Should you need extra space for overnight visitors, guest suites are available.

    Yes, Village On The Isle is entirely tobacco-free. This policy applies to all community spaces, grounds, and residences, and all residents, staff members, guests and visitors.

    Yes. Pets are allowed and welcome based upon registration requirements and policies of the community. Pet acceptance depends on the neighborhood you choose.

    Our Health Center offers comprehensive 24/365 nursing care, plus rehabilitation services comprised of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. We offer restorative programs to help residents regain lost balance or improve other mobility issues. Our objective is to help you achieve your maximum independence. Also, as a resident member of Village On The Isle, you will always receive priority access to our full continuum of health care services located conveniently on our campus.

    Yes. Our Health Center assigns an attending physician who is on call 24 hours a day. For Residential Living residents, we offer transportation services (if needed), so you may continue to see your preferred physician. We also offer resources for house-call physician services for primary care support in the comfort of your home.

  • Animated Arrow for QuestionsWhat if I have a medical emergency?

    Every residence is equipped with an urgent response system designed to alert staff 24 hours a day. In the event of an emergency, residents are always encouraged to call "911" first as staff will respond promptly to provide support until the paramedics arrive.

    Standard items included in your monthly service fee include:

    Priority Access to our Health Care

    • We offer two contract options—Enhanced Living and Life Care—that allow you to choose how to pay for health care. Either contract provides you priority access to our quality, first-class health care services.

      Our Enhanced Living contract option offers you an unlimited assisted living benefit at the same monthly fee you pay in your residential apartment home or cottage, plus you receive thirty-(30) free days per year in our Health Center if you should need around-the-clock care temporarily. If you should require long-term, permanent care in our Health Center, you will have priority admission at the published daily rate for care.

      Our Life Care contract option allows you to receive priority access to our entire health care continuum, with a comprehensive health benefit that includes unlimited assisted living, memory care support, and nursing care in our Health Center—all at the same monthly fee you pay in your residential home. Life Care is the ultimate way to achieve asset protection and a greater sense of security about the future for you and your family.

  • Animated Arrow for QuestionsCan I get a medical deduction on my income taxes if I live at Village On The Isle?

    Yes, according to current IRS guidelines, you would benefit from a one-time deduction of a portion of your Entrance Fee paid, as well as an annual deduction for a portion of your Monthly Service Fee. Each year, we work with a third-party accounting firm to calculate the percentage of monthly fees that can be deducted, and send you a notice to share with your tax preparer.

  • Animated Arrow for QuestionsWhat happens if my financial assets should be depleted through no fault of my own after I move into Village On The Isle?

    Our financial policy allows us to offer a formal financial assistance program, should you deplete the funds necessary to continue living at Village On The Isle through no fault of your own. Certain conditions apply, but this is a great relief to our residents and is part of our not-for-profit mission.
