Village On The Isle received the Venice Chamber of Commerce 2010
Business of the Year award in the Not-for-Profit sector. The award to Village On The Isle speaks volumes about how our collaboration of residents, board members and staff have produced a program that benefits both residents and staff while contributing positively to the overall Venice community.

Community Center.
Winter Resident Appreciation Party
On February 1, 2010, 1450/1320 The Dove radio station threw a Winter
Resident Appreciation Party at the Venice Community Center.
The event promoted the Venice area for the half million plus winter
residents who flock to the Suncoast each year looking for fun, rest and
relaxation in the Florida sun.
The party featured Canada Calling's Prior Smith, music from The Dove
Station, drawings for prizes and a chance for area retailers and restaurants
to sample and display their goods and services.
Village On The Isle partnered with The Dove by sponsoring this event and
providing a door prize of $100.00 cash to one lucky winner!

Village On The Isle won the first place trophy in the 4th annual Walk A Thon on Saturday, February 27, 2010. The Village Team with the help of many generous sponsors raised $5,710.00.
