Our goal for this active adults retirement community is to enhance the quality of life for our residents. The Recreation Department at Village On The Isle develops and maintains a rich calendar of recreation programs that are meaningful and enjoyed by our independent living residents. It is important for us to keep the residents as independent as possible. We strive to keep their minds sharp by staying healthy & active.
We look to keep a varied calendar of events so there is “something for everyone.” You can view our current month of activities here. You will see a mix of social, cultural, spiritual, educational and service oriented recreation.
We have many community outings throughout the year where we visit places like, Venice Theatre, Venice Symphony, and Venice Concert Band. We often take excursion trips to places such as Tarpon Springs, Biloxi, Mississippi where we stay at Capri Isle and visit the casinos. Local attractions are always a big hit with the residents, we may take a day trip to catch a Rays Game, visit Sea World, Busch Gardens, Fishermen’s Village, Badcock Wilderness Ranch, Hard Rock Casinos, Ringling Museum, Circus Sarasota, or stop to smell the roses at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.
